The value of Bitcoin is plummeting below 90,000 dollars. Since yesterday, the exchange rate of the cryptocurrency has fallen by around 5,000 dollars or five percent to around 89,300 dollars on Tuesday morning.
This is the lowest valuation since November 2024. At its highest, the exchange rate stood at 107,000 dollars on January 21.
Other cryptocurrencies are also plummeting in value, for example, Ethereum is falling by around ten percent.
