The reported birds, which were alive, have shown abnormal behaviour.
They have been spinning around and unable to hold their heads up, which could be a symptom of bird flu, says state veterinarian Caroline Bröjer.
The reports came in in June and July from Västra Götaland and Halland, in municipalities such as Lysekil, Orust and Kungsbacka. They concerned Canada geese, barnacle geese and greylag geese.
It's a fairly small increase, but we'd be happy to receive reports if anyone sees more, says Caroline Bröjer.
Some birds are expected to be transported to SVA for sampling at the beginning of next week.
