Bird flu continues to claim lives. On Saturday, 115,000 chickens will be culled at a farm in South Zealand after the viral disease was detected, reports the Ritzau news agency.
The decision to cull was made to reduce the risk of infection spreading to other birds. A protection zone has been established around the farm in Næstved.
Bird flu rarely infects humans. However, people are urged to exercise caution, including avoiding contact with potentially sick wild birds.
