Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs advises since October 2023 all Swedes who are in Lebanon to leave the country. Foreign Minister Tobias Billström (The Moderate Party) reminds on X not to travel to the country.

"I have said it several times and I say it again: it is necessary for Swedish citizens to leave Lebanon respectively to refrain from going to the country in question. Please heed this clear advice from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.", writes the Foreign Minister on X.

Israel has attacked targets "deep inside Lebanese territory" on Sunday as a response to Saturday's attack on the Golan Heights, where at least twelve children and young people were killed.
