The legal process began last week, in which Live Nation, which also controls ticketing giant Ticketmaster, is accused of violating competition law.
Live Nation will now pay $200 million (just over two billion kronor) in damages to the affected states.
For the first time, competitors must be allowed to sell tickets directly via Ticketmaster's platform, something that will increase freedom of choice for consumers.
Live Nation must also sell off more than ten large arenas to reduce its grip on the market, as part of the settlement.
The California-based company is a giant in the entertainment industry. In 2025, Live Nation organized 55,000 events worldwide that attracted 159 million visitors.
