Director and screenwriter Andrew Niccol returns for the sequel, “Lords of War.” The first film followed Nicolas Cage as arms dealer Yuri Orlov, who discovers in the sequel that he has a son, Anton (Bill Skarsgård).
The shows Anton seemingly following in his father’s footsteps, continuing the family business of international arms trafficking.
“Lords of War” is expected to premiere in 2027.
