The Republicans in the US House of Representatives have put forward a bill that gives incoming President Donald Trump the opportunity to initiate negotiations with Denmark about buying Greenland. This is reported, among others, by Fox News.
The bill, which has been titled "Make Greenland Great Again", will likely need support from Democrats as well in order to be adopted, according to Axios.
Last week, the Republicans presented a bill that opens up for negotiations about buying the Panama Canal and renaming the Mexican Gulf to the American Gulf.
