Donna Motsinger, now 84, has filed a civil lawsuit against Bill Cosby, Deadline reports.
She claims she was drugged and raped by Bill Cosby while she was working as a waitress in Santa Monica.
In the trial, Motsinger said Cosby, then an up-and-coming actor, picked her up in a limousine and offered her a glass of wine and what she thought was a headache pill.
She reportedly woke up at home dressed only in her underwear.
"She knew she had been drugged and raped by Bill Cosby," the lawsuit states.
Cosby, now 88, did not appear in court. Through his lawyers, he said he did not remember any sexual contact and that any contact had been consensual.
The jury awarded Cosby $19.3 million, equivalent to 180 million Swedish kronor.
Bill Cosby was sentenced to prison in 2018 for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in 2004, but he was released in 2021 after a Pennsylvania court overturned the conviction. He had served nearly three years in prison.
Around 60 women have come forward with allegations of sexual assault against the once-beloved entertainer.
