The former presidential couple has been summoned to Congress for a closed-door committee hearing.
"If you want to take this fight, we can do it publicly," Hillary Clinton wrote on social media to the committee chairman. Bill Clinton wrote that a closed-door hearing would be a sham trial:
"Let's stop playing games and do this the right way: in a public hearing."
Bill Clinton has appeared repeatedly in the Epstein investigations, but there is no indication that he committed any crimes. The Trump administration has drawn attention to Clinton, which Democrats have dismissed as an attempt to distract from matters that have not been made public.
