Several Swedish goals led Calgary to a 6–2 rout of Buffalo. Tough for the losing team's Swedish player Rasmus Dahlin, who had just returned and managed to break the team's losing streak.

Defender Rasmus Andersson scored Calgary's first goal of the match in the sixth minute.

"It was a good night for the team overall. I'm trying to contribute as much as possible," Andersson said in an interview on the team's X account after the match.

Calgary extended the lead with another goal before it was time for Dahlin to score for his Buffalo – or at least that's how it looked for a short while before the goal was ruled out.

Rasmus Dahlin missed three games when he went home to Gothenburg to be with his fiancée Carolina Matovac, who had a heart transplant. When the Swede returned, the team won two straight games, but now Buffalo is back on the losing track.

The away team continued to score goals during the game, including one from Västerås native Mikael Backlund in the third period, before the game was finally called off and Calgary took home the team's first victory in three games.
