The 23-year-old replaces veteran Andreas Palicka, who left the Blues and Yellows after finishing sixth at the European Championship. Roganovic, a professional in Danish club Bjerringbro-Silkeborg, will compete with Mikael Appelgren and Fabian Norsten for the goalkeeper position.
When it comes to players based abroad, the national team captain is betting exclusively on the players who participated in the European Championship on home soil for the international matches against Iceland in Reykjavik on March 19 and 21.
Among them is 19-year-old left-back Nikola Roganovic, Marko's younger brother.
