The US's former president Joe Biden has been operated on for skin cancer, confirms his spokesperson Kelly Scully.

The 82-year-old recently had cancerous skin changes on the forehead removed, said Scully on Thursday.

Biden had a similar operation during his time as president, when it was about basal cell carcinoma, a common form of skin cancer, on the chest. In March this year, he also confirmed that he had been affected by an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
