Since leaving the White House last year, Joe Biden has been seen on commercial flights a few times, and on Friday, a woman flying from Washington, D.C., to Columbia, South Carolina, discovered the former president was sitting next to her.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, says she chatted with Biden throughout the hour-long trip - he was not flying alone. As a former president, he is entitled to lifelong protection by bodyguards, but not to private jets.
However, Biden had to wait for his departure and, like everyone else, stood in line at Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., which was affected by delays due to fog.
