The 38-year-old man was sentenced to five months in prison for stalking the entrepreneur and influencer Ingrosso, but is now appealing to the court of appeal to be acquitted.
Alternatively, he wants, among other things, to receive a reduced sentence and avoid paying costs for public defenders and support for the victim.
It was in the spring that the man was arrested and detained, on probable cause suspected of unlawful harassment since October 2024. The harassment includes eight cases of molestation, one case of sexual molestation and two cases of unlawful threats.
The crime consists, among other things, of the fact that he wrote countless messages to Ingrosso via various accounts on Instagram and Snapchat for at least half a year – sometimes hundreds a day. Many of them were hateful and sexually offensive.
He is also alleged to have moved around outside Bianca Ingrosso's residence several times. On one occasion, he is said to have sat in a car and honked outside her home for 40 minutes. On another occasion, he is said to have appeared outside the influencer's office and put his hand on her shoulder, and on yet another occasion, he waited for her in the lobby of the Grand Hotel for six hours.
The man has consistently denied the allegations. The district court, however, assessed his risk of continued criminal activity as "very clear".
