Netflix broadcast another match, Pittsburgh against Kansas City, which last year's Super Bowl winner Kansas City won with 29–10.
The two matches mean that Netflix is entering into streamed sports more seriously and American football. In May, the company signed a contract with the NFL to stream matches on Christmas Day. They can be seen by all 280 million subscribers, worldwide.

The Christmas star Mariah Carey also got to participate and opened the broadcast, albeit in a pre-recorded performance, with "All I want for Christmas is you".
