The megastar Beyoncé will perform during the Christmas weekend in her hometown of Houston. Beyoncé will provide the halftime entertainment in connection with the Christmas Day match between Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens in the American football league, NFL.
The match is one of two that will be broadcast by the streaming giant Netflix during the Christmas weekend. It is also a premiere for Netflix in an NFL context, but the company has recently chosen to also invest in broadcasting various sporting events. Over the weekend, they showed the boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.
For Beyoncé, however, it is not the first time she has performed in connection with NFL matches. She has provided halftime entertainment at two Super Bowl finals previously, most recently in 2016.
