While most people are backing 19-year-old Alvar Myhlback or 22-year-old Edvin Anger, the third Swedish Olympic debutant in the sprint team is instead making his own bid.
"I've been focusing on this sprint all year. I've been training on hills of that gradient and uphills at that speed, and I think that's what has made me able to ski so well on this particular track," says 21-year-old Anton Grahn from Jönköping, with calm and understated self-confidence.
"Tomorrow could be the day I'm in the best shape of the whole year," says Grahn - who was third on the exact same sprint course in Val di Fiemme during the Tour de Ski in January.
