Manchester City's team captain Bernardo Silva criticizes football's power holders for what he considers unfair conditions ahead of Sunday's top meeting against Arsenal in the Premier League. All we want is common sense, but they do not listen to us, he says.

The big match at Emirates Stadium ended 1–1 after Arsenal equalized in stoppage time.

According to Bernardo Silva, it was not strange that City did not have the strength to resist all the way to the end.

Manchester City had only two rest days between Thursday's Champions League meeting with Napoli and the top meeting in Premier League with Arsenal, while Arsenal played their Champions League match against Athletic Bilbao 48 hours earlier.

We cannot get such unfavorable conditions before one of the most important matches of the entire season. It is not fair play, says Bernardo Silva.

The players in the big clubs have time and time again protested to football's rulers against the swelling schedule, but Silva is resigned.

They do not listen to us. We would like to change some things, but nothing ever happens, he says.
