It was something of an anxiety meeting that unfolded in Premier League football when Manchester United, in 14th place in the table, visited Tottenham, in 15th place. Both teams have significantly higher ambitions than that.

The two Swedes, Lucas Bergvall and Dejan Kulusevski, started for "Spurs" – and the former was highly involved when Tottenham took the lead in the match.

Bergvall's shot was indeed saved by United goalkeeper André Onana, but the rebound that followed was picked up by James Maddison, who easily scored the 1-0 goal from close range.

He has developed a lot and the team trusts him. It's fun that he plays so close to me, that we have a Swedish right side, says Kulusevski about Bergvall after the match.

The goal, which fell as early as the 13th minute, was the only one in the match, despite United pushing for an equalizer. The win means that Tottenham climbs to 12th place in the table.

Victor Nilsson Lindelöf had to watch the match from United's bench.
