Bergvall grabbed his head and slammed his fist hard on the grass after reinjuring himself. The incident in which the national team midfielder fell looked harmless, but he was left lying on the field receiving treatment to his left thigh.
19-year-old Bergvall was injured as recently as the weekend and missed a Premier League match before returning as a substitute against Sunderland on Sunday.
Bergvall started against Bournemouth. When he was substituted, Bournemouth were leading 2–1. The home team eventually won 3–2.
