Jesper Blomqvist was 20 years and 134 days old when he made his World Cup debut against Cameroon in the USA World Cup in 1994.

Now Lucas Bergvall has taken over that record - by a measly two days. Bergvall, 20 years and 132 days old, stepped in when Blågult beat Tunisia 5–1.

It would mean an incredible amount, of course. It's been a dream since I was little to play in the World Cup and represent my country, Bergvall previously said.

Next up, Sweden will face the Netherlands and Japan.
