Lucas Bergvall missed only one match. The Swede returned to the pitch as Tottenham settled for a 1-1 draw against Sunderland in the Premier League.

Bergvall limped off the field in the midday match with Crystal Palace and was then absent from the squad against Brentford on New Year's Day.

But on Sunday, it was finally confirmed that the national team midfielder's injury was less serious. Bergvall was allowed to come on in front of the home crowd in the 71st minute, with Tottenham leading 1-0 after Ben Davies' opening goal.

However, it wasn't a particularly pleasant substitution for the 19-year-old. Brian Brobbey thundered in the visitors' equalizer in the 80th minute.
