The Manifest Gala is held at Nalen in Stockholm and highlights artists released by independent record labels.
Amanda Bergman is awarded in the categories of songwriter of the year and composer of the year. The lyricist of the year is, however, H Self – alias Henric Hammarbäck – who is described by the jury as both "brilliant" and "vulnerable".
Rapper and songwriter Lina receives the award in the hip-hop category for the album "TNT". "Completely unique in its class – the winner of the hip-hop of 2024 moves seamlessly between soft and hard", the jury writes in their motivation.
The newcomer of the year is Clara Rudelius' project De Clair, the rock band of the year is Girl Scout, and the live act of the year is Paul Adamah's solo project Boko Yout.
"There are live acts that are good, and then there are those that change the game plan. The winner of the year belongs to the latter category", it is stated in the motivation for his award.
