The project Beredskapslyftet receives an additional one million kronor to find new jobs for former employees of Northvolt, as stated in a press release from the Government Offices.
"Their effort can facilitate the business sector to take advantage of many people's unique competence. The right competence strengthens Sweden's competitiveness", says Minister for Energy and Business Ebba Busch in a press release.
The project Beredskapslyftet was initiated in connection with the battery manufacturer Northvolt's bankruptcy in March this year. At the end of May, Dagens Industri reported that only one person from Northvolt had gotten a new job with the help of the initiative.
