When Ingrosso released the album "Pink Velvet Theatre" in 2024, it resulted in awards at both the Grammis and P3 Gold Awards.
Since then, there has been no new material - until now. The singles “Funny Feeling” and “Waste My Time” depict an artist who, alongside his success, has struggled with, to say the least, troubled love relationships.
"I always fall in love in the way you only see in movies, where it feels like I'm in one of those 90s romantic comedies I've been obsessed with since I was a kid. I'm willing to do anything and lose track of everything else in my life," he says in a press release.
Benjamin Ingrosso says that his "destructive relationship patterns" forced him to come to terms with his worst sides and that the writer's block that had held him in its grip for almost a whole year suddenly let go.
"Being chosen and rejected every now and then does such sick things to you as a person. Even though you know you'll feel pissed off afterwards, you're just drawn to it even harder," he says about the song "Waste My Time."
The new material was written and recorded in Sweden, the US and England. On October 23, Benjamin Ingrosso will begin his autumn tour in Karlstad.
