This year's artist: Benjamin Ingrosso. The Golden Mic for best live performance: Benjamin Ingrosso. Best album and best song, for "Pink Velvet Theatre" and "Kite" respectively: Benjamin Ingrosso.

I actually feel a bit embarrassed because there is so much musical talent in this country. All these prizes have a special place in my heart, I've always dreamed of people liking my music, says Benjamin Ingrosso after the gala.

Developed as an artist

There was no doubt about who was the king of the evening at Cirkus in Stockholm. In the category of this year's artist, he won over competitors like Amanda Bergman, Molly Sandén and the late rapper C Gambino. In the album category, big names like Thåström and Little Jinder were defeated.

I've always been a bit hesitant about whether I should even be an artist, so winning that category feels powerful and then this year's Golden Mic on top of that. The live bit has been something I've been afraid of, but this year I really feel like I've developed as an artist, says Benjamin Ingrosso, who in two weeks will embark on a US tour.

Honorary award to Hellström

Two categories Ingrosso couldn't compete in, which might have been lucky for the other participants. The prize for this year's group was awarded to Swedish House Mafia and the future artist was named Orkid. Behind the artist name stands Matilda Melin, who started her artist career in 2013 in "Idol".

The honorary award for this year's P3 Icon went to Håkan Hellström, who recently released the EP "Gå för glory" and this summer is current with several performances at Ullevi.

This year's song quote was provided by Miriam Bryant in "Regnblöta skor": "Always on the way somewhere/A migratory bird out of balance".

Since Benjamin Ingrosso took home so many prizes at the gala, the evening's losers were several: Amanda Bergman, Molly Sandén and the group Terra had been nominated for three prizes each, but went home empty-handed.
