The former Welsh national team player Craig Bellamy takes over as national team captain for the country's men's football team after Rob Page, who was let go since Wales was eliminated in the European Championship qualifiers.
He has signed a contract that applies over the European Championship 2028. Bellamy comes most recently from Burnley, where he was assistant coach to Vincent Kompany last Premier League season.
