The final part of the race featured a three-way battle for victory between Beganovic, Rafael Câmara and Gabriele Minì.
The trio swapped positions in an entertaining and intense battle. For a brief moment, with two laps to go, the Ferrari junior led the race.
But in the end, Minì was first across the finish line.
"I'm super happy with this second place and it's nice to finally get some points on the board," Beganovic said in a press release.
The result moves Dino Beganovic up to sixth place in this year's Formula 2 championship.
The next race will be held in Montreal, Canada, in three weeks.
