Miami's big star Lionel Messi scored the team's only goal in the 1-4 loss to Minnesota in the weekend's match in the American football league (MLS).
The winning team celebrated by posting a picture of the table on Instagram, where Minnesota is seen climbing positions over Miami.
This was not appreciated by the former superstar David Beckham, who has been a co-owner of Miami since 2018:
"Show some respect, be worthy winners", he commented under the post.
But it didn't end there. Minnesota published another celebratory post with a picture from the match, which got Beckham going in the comments field again.
"Respect above all", he then.
Besides Messi, Miami has recruited star players like Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.
