Bayern dominated early, Harry Kane became a two-goal scorer and his first goal extended the lead to 2–0 just nine minutes into the match. The first goal came six minutes into the match, when Flamengo's star Erick Pulgar headed the ball into his own goal after Joshua Kimmich's corner.
The Bundesliga champion is now facing the Champions League winner Paris Saint-Germain in the quarterfinals.
