Baxter defends Halmstad board after resign banner, says he understands fans' frustration

0-2 against Gais and a new Allsvenskan contract is becoming increasingly distant for Halmstad.

After Gais took the lead, the home crowd showed its frustration and unfurled a banner reading "resign the board".

I understand the crowd's frustration, says HBK coach Stuart Baxter on TV4, but at the same time he defends the board:

We have the financial resources we have and we have to invest them carefully. As a coach, I have to comply with that.

But at the same time, he hopes for new signings before the transfer window closes.

I hope we get players in as quickly as possible so that the squad gets a boost forward.
