“Battlefield 6,” the latest game in the series, topped last year’s sales charts. Now it looks like “Battlefield” - created by Swedish developer DICE - could be adapted into a film.
Christopher McQuarrie, who has been behind the recent "Mission: Impossible" films, is reportedly set to write, direct and produce, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Actor Michael B. Jordan, who recently won an Oscar for Best Actor for "Sinners," is set to produce and possibly star in one of the roles.
A costly bidding war is now expected among Hollywood studios to buy the rights.
