Suspicious object found in Huskvarna apartment building deemed harmless

The police were called to an apartment building this morning to assist an ambulance with a medical issue and discovered an object.

They tried to imitate some kind of homemade bomb, police spokesperson Angelica Israelsson Silfver tells SVT Jönköping.

The National Bomb Squad was called to the scene, but the object was deemed not to pose a danger.

A woman in her 30s and a man in his 20s were in the apartment and both have been arrested on suspicion of preparing to cause public danger, violating the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods, and drug offenses.
