”FC Barcelona regrets the incident and its impact on many, many Barça fans in Japan”, the club writes in a statement on its website.

Also Vissel Kobe regrets the incident:

”We want to apologize for the worries that this may have caused all fans and people who looked forward to the match. We are working with all involved parties to gather necessary information and take actions."

Barcelona has two more matches scheduled in its Asia tour, both in South Korea: Seoul FC (July 31) and Daegu FC (August 4).

The tour organizer, Seoul-based D-Drive, states that these matches will be played.

”All planned activities in South Korea will be carried out as planned, without disruptions”, the company writes in a statement and continues:

”This problem comes entirely from the Japanese side and has no connection with the South Korea tour at all”.
