Sergi Roberto has done his part in FC Barcelona.
After 18 years in the club, the player confirms that he is leaving since his contract expired after last season.
"The time has come to thank you for this journey we've made together", writes Roberto on Instagram.
The 32-year-old came to Barcelona's academy as a 14-year-old and has been part of the first team since 2013.
Last season, Sergi Roberto became team captain when Sergio Busquets left the club.
In 373 appearances, he scored 19 goals in Barcelona. His most memorable goal was the decisive one in the 6–1 comeback against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League round of 16 in the 2016/2017 season.
Which club is waiting for Roberto next is still unclear.
