However, Barbro Ehnbom had close contact with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein after he was sentenced to prison in 2008 for sexual crimes against children. He is reported to have donated several million to the School of Economics, most of which went to a women's scholarship that Barbro Ehnbom founded.
"I feel strong disgust at what he subjected many girls to," she writes.
In her post, she also highlights that her life's work, in addition to the scholarship, was the BBB (Barbro's Best and Brightest) network. The Epstein files show, among other things, that she sent pictures of people in the network to Epstein. She is also said to have introduced Princess Sofia to Epstein.
"The fact that the purpose of this network is now being questioned in the media really hurts me," she writes in the post.
