In the construction industry, bankruptcies are up by six percent. In the hotel and restaurant industry, an increase of 21 percent is seen.

"The fact that bankruptcies in the hotel and restaurant industry are increasing during July is remarkable, as the summer months normally mean a clear seasonal lift for the industry," says Amanda Aldestam, analyst at UC, in a press release.

In wholesale trade, bankruptcies increased by 71 percent during July, which is linked to an uncertain demand situation.

In the retail sector, however, the number of bankruptcies decreased by 29 percent, indicating that the situation is gradually improving.
