The Bank of England has decided to leave the policy rate at 3.75 percent. However, there was no consensus behind the decision. Three members wanted to see the policy rate increase.
The US counterpart, the Federal Reserve, also chose the same course yesterday, leaving the key interest rate unchanged. However, there were also votes there for a rate hike.
