Two were executed, one died of cancer and one was released earlier. Now, the five remaining of the "Bali Nine" who were sentenced to life imprisonment in 2005 for heroin smuggling on the tourist island have been released and flown home to Australia.
"The five are relieved and happy to be back" reads a statement from the five men, their families and lawyers.
In 2015, two leaders of the gang were executed, which led to Australia temporarily recalling its ambassador from Indonesia.
