A warehouse outside Borås had to be evacuated due to a bag with a suspicious powder in it. However, it later turned out to contain flour.

It was on Friday morning that an unknown bag was discovered at the company.

"A package has been received, a bag with unknown contents. We are going to identify the contents and are in the process of blocking off the area," Andreas Håkansson, duty officer at the rescue service, told Borås Tidning.

According to the police, it was some kind of suspected dangerous substance, which caused the warehouse to be evacuated and cordoned off. After various tests during the day, however, the powder was deemed harmless at 1 p.m.

"They have done a couple of different tests on the substance and concluded that it was harmless. What emerged was that it was flour," says Christer Dyrfelt, duty officer of the Södra Älvsborg rescue service association.
