Badou Jack defeated Noel Mikaelian in tonight's match in Riyadh, thereby defending his title as World Champion in cruiserweight, writes MMA-nytt.
The match began evenly, but from the middle of the second round, Badou Jack found the upper hand and gained more control. With just one minute left, Jack landed a strong right and the match on points.
The 41-year-old Jack has not had a match in over two years, when he defeated Ilunga Makabu. His feeling ahead of the meeting with former champion Noel Mikaelian, however, was "really good".
He's not bad, it's going to be a tough match, said Jack to SVT Sport ahead of the meeting and told that he had prepared himself through an eight-week long training camp in London.
