Earlier in January, the Norwegian club Vipers Kristiansand went bankrupt, where the three Swedish players Jamina Roberts, Carin Strömberg, and Nina Koppang played.

Now, the latter has got a new club address – with a familiar coach.

Koppang is set for Danish Esbjerg, where the Swedish national team coach for women Tomas Axnér is the coach.

"I play handball to win and develop, and Esbjerg is a good place to fulfill those goals", says the 22-year-old to the club's website.

"Nina is a giant talent with explosiveness and shooting power in her position and is also a good defender. And she has the x-factor. With her age, she has all the opportunities to develop further", says Axnér about the recruitment.

Nina Koppang missed the European Championship last winter due to a meniscus injury and is still injured but approaching comeback.
