Children can sit rear-facing in the Minikid Core from birth until around seven years of age. However, a crash test showed that the chair's support legs bend in a frontal impact.
"When the chair is in the reclined position, the seat-belt buckle comes loose and the child doll's legs and hips fly up over the doll's head, which in a real crash could result in serious neck injuries," writes the newspaper Råd & Rön.
