Set in 1993 on the Black Sea, it explores desire and shame. Two groups of cousins come together in the summer and things happen, Akin says.

He doesn't want to say more but adds:

I go where a story takes me, a story that turns me on. I want to make the films that I myself haven't seen before.

The film is written by Canadian director and writer Jordan Tannahill and shooting begins in June. Akin has previously directed the acclaimed and award-winning "And Then We Danced" and "Passage."
