Mikael Yves' second novel oscillates, according to the publisher Polaris, just like its predecessor between the comically absurd and "the utterly sorrowful".
One of the main characters grows up in an "ordered home" and graduates without making much of a fuss. One day, he assaults a young woman and a boy, without really understanding why. At the same time, his neighbor receives a visit from a strange expert who intensely takes care of all her technical problems.
"Häng city" received Borås Tidning's debutant award in 2023. "Our boy" is coming in August.
