Yazbek travelled to Doha, Qatar, when the war in Gaza broke out, and the book is based on interviews with survivors aged between 13 and 60, who talk about "the war, losses, and the struggle to survive."
Yazbek has previously been awarded the Tucholsky Prize and the British PEN Pinter Prize, among others.
The conversation will take place on the Small Stage at the Dramaten on October 14.
