The online bank Avanza reports an operating profit of 818 million kronor for the first quarter. This can be compared to the profit of 647 million kronor for the first quarter of 2024.
The revenues landed at 1.1 billion kronor, compared to 951 million kronor for the same period last year.
"It has been an eventful quarter in our surroundings, at Avanza and for our customers. High trading activity in combination with a continued strong interest margin means that we are reporting the best quarterly result in Avanza's history today. Despite the recent stock market drama and trade policy statements, I look positively on the future", says Avanza's CEO Gustaf Unger in a comment in the interim report for the first quarter.
