The announcement accompanies the interim report for the first quarter.
"Denmark is a natural choice for the first foreign market for Avanza, where we will gather important lessons for our further expansion. It is the second-largest market in the Nordic region and has a similar structure, competitive situation and culture to the Swedish one," said CEO Gustaf Unger in the interim report.
The company increased its operating profit by 7 percent in the most recent quarter. Operating revenue rose by 9 percent to just over SEK 1.2 billion.
"Avanza is standing strong, and today we are delivering record results and our best quarter ever, despite a rapidly changing environment," wrote Gustaf Unger.
