The Norwegian channel has spoken to the family's legal counsel, Oline Bredeli.
"We were recently contacted by Italian authorities who asked for help translating Norwegian patient records. We will, of course, assist with this, but it is reasonable to assume it will take additional time before the long-awaited report is available," she says.
The autopsy report was originally scheduled for March 7.
Bakken was found dead in his hotel room in Lavaze, wearing a high-altitude mask the day before Christmas Eve last year.
