It was last autumn that the association warned authors to write contracts with the publisher, as they questioned its working methods. This after an examination, made by SVT, showed that only 4 out of 26 people had made a profit since they got their books published on hybrid publishers like Lava.
Now the association is lifting the warning, and refers to the fact that a continuous dialogue with the publisher has resulted in major changes.
"Lava has been accommodating, listened to our comments and acted quickly based on them. We have had a good dialogue", says the chairman of the authors' association Anja Gatu in the press release that SVT has taken part of.
Gatu emphasizes, however, that Lava still does not engage in traditional publishing activities.
